Healthcare Digital Marketing
Websites, search, social media, Google Business Profile, ads and online reviews for U.S. medical practices, planned with you and published only with your approval. Because we focus on healthcare, we plan every piece of work around patient privacy and health advertising rules.
What healthcare digital marketing does Masscare offer?
Masscare offers healthcare digital marketing for U.S. medical practices: website design, SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, social media, paid ads, content, reputation management, branding and lead generation. Each service is planned around patient privacy and health advertising rules, and nothing goes live until a person the practice chooses approves it.
- Nine services, used on their own or combined
- No patient stories or photos without written HIPAA authorization
- Ads planned around location and services, not patient lists
Nine ways to help patients find your practice
Use one service or combine several, depending on where your practice needs the most help online.
Healthcare website design
Clear, mobile-friendly websites that tell patients who you treat, where you are and how to book. We can refresh the site you have or design a new one, written in plain language and built with accessibility in mind.
Search engine optimization (SEO)
We work on what search engines read: page titles, service and location pages, site structure and speed, and content that answers the questions patients search for. Local searches, such as your specialty plus your town, get particular attention.
Social media management
A steady posting plan for the channels that suit your practice, such as Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn: office news, seasonal reminders, team introductions and health tips your providers have reviewed. We draft, you approve, then we publish.
Google Business Profile optimization
We keep each location's name, address, phone number, hours, holiday hours, categories, services and photos accurate on Google Search and Maps, and post updates when there is news to share. We also check that your details match across other online directories.
Paid advertising campaigns
Search ads on Google and social ads on Facebook and Instagram, built around the services you want to grow and the areas you serve. Spending is your decision, and every ad is written to follow each platform's health advertising rules.
Content creation
Service pages, blog articles, patient FAQs and social posts written in plain, friendly language. Anything with clinical information goes to one of your providers for review before it is published.
Reputation management
We help you ask patients for reviews fairly, keep an eye on new reviews, and draft calm, professional replies for your approval. Replies never confirm that someone is a patient, and we never post fake reviews or offer rewards for reviews.
Branding and graphic design
A consistent look across everything patients see: logo design or refresh, colors, fonts, and templates for social graphics, flyers and patient handouts, so your practice is easy to recognize online and in the office.
Lead generation strategies
Clear next steps on your website, Business Profile and ads, such as call, book or request an appointment, plus landing pages for specific services. We can also set up simple ways to see which channels bring in inquiries, without sending patient health information to advertising platforms.

Signs it could help
Marketing is easy to put off when the day is full of patients. Here is what each problem tends to look like, and where we would start.
Hard to find in local search
Someone nearby searches for the care you offer, and your practice does not appear, or appears with old hours or the wrong phone number.
How we help: We start with your Google Business Profile and the local search basics.
A website that has fallen behind
It is hard to use on a phone, the information is out of date, or patients cannot easily see how to book.
How we help: We improve the site you have, or design a new one if that makes more sense.
Posting comes and goes
Your social pages had a busy month, then went quiet, and the last post is from a season ago.
How we help: A simple posting plan, with posts drafted well ahead of time.
Reviews without replies
Kind reviews go unthanked, and critical ones sit unanswered because no one is sure what is safe to say.
How we help: Calm, privacy-aware replies, plus a fair way to ask patients for new reviews.
No one has time for it
Marketing lands on the office manager or a provider, after everything else in the day.
How we help: We take on the work you choose, and you stay in charge of what goes out.
Not sure where to start?
Bring your questions to an intro call, and we can talk through which of these matter most for your practice.
Marketing that respects patient privacy
Marketing a medical practice comes with privacy and advertising rules that most other businesses do not face. These are the ones we plan around.
Patient stories only with written authorization
We do not use patient names, photos, stories or testimonials in marketing unless the patient has signed a written HIPAA authorization, as the Privacy Rule requires. The HHS Office for Civil Rights (OCR) has settled with a practice that posted patient testimonials without one.
Review replies that protect privacy
Our draft replies do not confirm that a reviewer is a patient or mention their care, even if they described it themselves. OCR has settled with practices whose replies to online reviews disclosed patient information.
No ad trackers where patients share health information
We keep advertising pixels and similar trackers off patient portals, logins, appointment requests and other forms where patients enter health information. HHS guidance on online tracking still stands for logged-in pages such as patient portals. A June 2024 federal court ruling set aside only its position on visits to public pages about health conditions or providers.
Health ads within platform rules
In personalized advertising, Google treats personal health as a sensitive category, so ads about health conditions and their treatment cannot use customer lists, remarketing or lookalike audiences. Meta does not allow ads that suggest the viewer has a medical condition. We never upload patient lists to ad platforms, and we target ads by location and by the services you offer, never by anyone's health information.
Your practice stays in charge. You approve everything we publish, and your practice remains responsible for its own HIPAA compliance and advertising decisions.

Review. Plan. Publish. Adjust.
Review your presence
We look at your website, Google Business Profile, social pages, reviews and any current ads, and note what is missing or out of date.
Plan with you
Together we agree on priorities: the services you want to grow, the areas you serve and who approves what.
Build and publish
We prepare pages, posts, profile updates and ads, share them for your approval, then publish.
Check and adjust
We review what is working on a schedule agreed with you, and adjust the plan together.
Is this right for you?

How we work with you
- You choose the services and the order we take them on
- A person you choose at your practice approves our work before it goes live
- Your providers review anything with clinical information
- Who owns and can access each account, such as your website, Business Profile and ad accounts, is agreed with you before we start
Good to know: We work remotely. If you need someone at your clinic, for example for photo or video shoots, we may not be the right fit.
What to expect
We start with the basics patients see first, then build from there. Scope and timing are agreed with you before we begin.
Getting started
You tell us who will approve our work and give us access to the accounts involved, such as your website, Business Profile and social pages. We gather your logo, photos and service details.
First weeks
We start with the basics, such as listing errors, missing website information and unanswered reviews, then move on to the plan we agreed.
Ongoing
Steady publishing, review replies and campaign updates. Search and reputation work builds over time, so when we check in, we look at trends across months, not days.
Frequently asked questions
Can we choose only some of these services?
Yes. You can start with one or two, such as your Google Business Profile and review replies, and add more later as your needs change.
Can you work with our existing website?
Often, yes. We look at your current site first and recommend whether to improve it or start fresh. What we can change depends on how the site is built and who manages it, which we work out with you before we begin.
Who approves posts, ads and website changes?
Your practice does. We draft and prepare everything, and nothing goes live without approval from the person you choose. Anything with clinical information should also be reviewed by one of your providers.
How do you handle patient reviews?
We draft replies for your approval that thank the reviewer and invite them to contact the office, without confirming that they are a patient or mentioning their care. We also help you ask for reviews fairly: no rewards, no fake reviews, and no asking only the patients you expect to be happy.
Do you need patient information?
Usually not. Most marketing work, such as your website, Business Profile, social media and ads, does not need patient records. If a task would involve patient information, such as an online appointment request form, we agree with you how it is handled before we start. We do not use patient names, photos or stories in marketing without the patient's written authorization, as HIPAA requires, and we plan ad targeting around location and services rather than patient lists.
How will we see what is working?
Before we start, we agree with you on what to look at, such as website visits, calls and appointment requests, Business Profile activity and reviews, and how often we review it together. Results depend on many things, including your location, competition and budget, so we do not promise rankings or patient numbers.
